Sony Ericsson initiated the Europe-wide campaign "Hopper Invasion" for the launch of their new Hero Phones Satio™ and Aino™ in 2009. Based on the global model, the campaign idea for the German market should be innovative and promising. By claiming "Be a part of the great Hopper Invasion", the users of the campaign website www.hopperinvasion.de were called upon to dispatch a Hopper in form of a balloon including a personal message and thereby participate in the expansion of the Hopper Invasion all over Germany. The daily Hopper dispatch was handled in a secret Factory and transmitted live via Webcam on www.hopperinvasion.de .
